Atlanta-based gaming platform and market Shotcall introduced Wednesday that it has raised a $2.2M USD seed funding led by Preliminary Capital and New Stack and closed by Lerer Hippeau.
The startup, which was based in 2018 by Gordon Li, Riley Auten, and Thomas Light, is an alumnus of Techstars Seattle Accelerator Class of 2020. Shotcall developed a market as “an avenue to schedule and monetize any type of neighborhood occasion hosts need to carry together with tournaments, teaching periods, Q&As, queue strains, charity occasions, one-on-one competitions, and extra.”
Shotcall revealed that it’ll use the funding proceeds to develop its market platform to combine with extra recreation publishers and to develop internet hosting alternatives with extra celebrities and artists.
Moreover, Ken Lamb, co-founder of lead investor Preliminary Capital grew to become a member of Shotcall’s board of administrators.
